HI, I have a 98 Chev Cavalier. I wired in a relay so that when the high beams were turned on, the low beams would remain on.
85 - Power
86 - Pink (High Beam Ground Wire)
30 - Ground
87 - Dk Bluw (Low Beam Groud Wire)
It all works fine except for one small problem.
When the DRL lights try to engage they go screwy.
They blink like 10 times, then shut off.
Hi and low beam still works, but no DRL.
Anyone have some suggestions. I know the DRL puts the high beams in series, so the pink wire shows 6V. Put that shouldnt activate the relay and cause things to go screwy.
Any advice would be appricatied.

6volts would be enough to activate some relays. I would try to do may be a switch that would allow you turn the low beams on if you want. You could always could get a photcell and have the low beams activated when it gets dark outside, then if you need more light just turn on the high beams.
