I can't get the tach from my '02 Chevy 2500 to program to my advantguard 4.  There is no programming option in the feature chart in the manual.  If anyone knows the column and row to program it, or if there is another way please tell me.

Thanks

It is an installer programmable feature only. What you have to do is this. Start the vehicle and let it idle. Enter your valet code on the switch (factory setting is press star twice and then blank. After doing this hold down the star button, after about 5 seconds the siren will chirp, continue to hold it until it chirps again which will be about 15 seconds. After it chirps release it. Then press the blank side and release wait for a chirp (this is very important) after you hear that confirmation chirp press the star side five times the siren will chirp each time to help you count. After the fifth time listen for the siren to chirp twice and the lights to flash twice. And now you're all set just turn the car off and enjoy autostart.
