im doing an install in my friends rabbit for him before he leaves for college.  He has an MA audio HK204SX running to two dual voice coil subs wired in paralell, its bridged (yes its 2 ohm stable bridged) and should be getting about 300RMS a piece, theres a rockford fostgate 1/2 farad 24 volt cap.  the amp is rated at 1,200 watts and 90 amps but i dont think it will be using that much, i figure 4AWG will be ok but could i get away with 8?, or is 4 too small? i wanted to go with the smallest i can because i want to run it through the interior not under the chassis
Its only after we have lost everything that we are free to do anything
i wish being stupid were grounds for capitol punishment

You will need to go with a 4 gauge cable. And as far as running it through the cabin you should not have a problem.
