Hey guys,

I bought a Ti1000.2 rated at 1000 watts bridged at 4 ohms but its at 14.4 Volts.

Does anyone know have this amp, and knows the rating at 12 volts??

833.33 watts

Remember when stepping on the gas peddle in your car your battery is putting out near 14.4 volts

acutally, stepping on the gas peddle does not produce 14.4 volts.  it is a little more complicated than that.  Usually, at higher RPM's, the alternator will provide more voltage.  and most charging sytems have a hard time producing that amount of voltage, esp. with that type of wattage.  it is not the battery that is putting out the voltage when your car is running, but rather the alternator.  at that wattage, run a 1 farad capcaitor, and this will help keep a higher and more stable voltate.  I know a full farad is slightly overkill for 800 watts, but a little buffer never hurts.
