ok im fitting a relay to enable me to use high wattage bulbs in my headlamps...i know how to wire it up but im getting conflicting veiws on fuses

do i fuse just the main power wire to the relay..and then if a problem happens after the relay  will the fuse protect it all?

or should i fuse the power wire then each + wire to the lamps...or just the lamp wires?

thanks

If you fuse the power going into the relay then it fuses anything you hook to the output of the relay. I say fuse the power wire going into the relay.
