2000 Ford Explorer Wiring Discrepancy

Test the wires using a DMM if you are unsure. Where ever you get information about car's wiring diagrams there might be differences because some cars tend to have diffrent wire colors (not often but it happens) and I think everyone should agree that you don't just hook up wires because someone told you, you need to identify, test, and carry on with the install. STARTER 1 RED / lt. blue + ignition harness     ACCESSORY 1 gray / YELLOW + ignition harness     Two wires each at switch, both are common, only need to power 1 each during remote start. In the drivers kick panel find lt. GREEN/ YELLOW for the drivers rear door. In the passengers kick panel find gray/red for the passenger front door, and pink/lt. blue for the passengers rear door. All four wires are negative trigger and must be diode isolated together. Refer to directfax document #1076 for wiring information.
