when my alarm is armed, the led blinks normally. when the alarm is off and the engine is on then it comes on dimly. it will shut off all the way if my lights are on.

make sure you have a good solid ground most intermittent problems with alarms are due to poor grounding from the battery to the chassis of the vehicle or poor ground connection from the chassis to  the alarm. Also check your 12v

try disconnecting from parking light circuit see if that fixes the problem if so you may need too relocate this connection

pulled the parking light connection and the problem went away. now i just have to find another spot to run the lights from. thank you.
