Is it ok to mount the power window roll-up module inside the door of my 2001 Suburban? There is a spot to mount it where it wont get wet or anything. I figure it would be easier to run three wires out of the door rather that a whole bunch of thicker wires into the door. I plan on using the drivers side switch to be able to roll up all four windows.

That's fine, and pretty common.

yeah thats a really good idea....trust me...its a pain in the ass to run wires thru the door boot as im sure you could imagine!!  and as far as you saying you wanted to use the switches on the driver door to roll up the windows...thats the only way to do it...if you run wires to every door, the only one that will work is the driver door.   yeah i know this from experience and it will piss you off! lol   i ran wires to all 4 doors in my jeep not knowing that they all have to go to the switches in my driver door!

I guess it depends on the car? I have a 2-door, and I ran the wires for the driver's window to the driver's door, and the wires for the passenger window to the passenger door....and that gave me 1-touch on all 3 switches (the 2 on the driver's door and the 1 on the passenger door).
