Alpine speaker blew?

Well - I don't get any sound from the speaker. I used another speaker and plugged it in where the alpine was and it worked. I checker the wire from the connector to the speaker baffel and it is indeed connected.

Is there any way to repair the speaker yourself?

If not, how much does it cost to have a speaker repaired?

talk to paul at nevisonics, price will depend on what's wrong with it... hard to say, but cheaper than new that's for sure.

he just fixed my JL Audio, and it rocks... here's the info:

They send out new speakers if you return them under warrenty - they do not repair them. My speakers are out of warrenty

Don't feel so bad I have a 15 month old Type R 5 1/4 that the magnet fell off.  ya that sucks.
