I am about to install a keyless entry on the above vehicle. There's no factory alarm on it right now. Is there anything I need to know about the door locks to install this? What type of door lock system is it and what wires to look for. Any relay's needed? Etc....
Thanks,
Sound Pressure

This car is just like all the other ford car withput factory keyless entry.  Your lock wire is lt. blue/orange is requires a negative trigger, and unlock is lt. GREEN/ YELLOW and also negative trigger.  These wires are located on the 20 pin plug on the FEM module which is located under the drivers side of the dash on the firewall, and yes always relay door lock triggers unless your cars wire you are tapping into is activating a relay! Hope this helps!!

good news... no resisters, relays or diodes. the locks are in the FEM (front electronics module) it is a big silver box left of the brake pedal against the firewall. the wire colors are lock= light blue with orange stripe and unlock is green with yellow stripe. there are a few plugs going into the module the locks are in one of the last two on the right side
