Hi I am having a problem locating the wire that the orange wire from the remote start unit connects to to turn the heater blower on when the truck is remote started.  I originally hooked the wire to the ORANGE / black wire at the ignition harness but that shorted out the remote starter.  I got another remote starter and before I hook it back up I just want to make sure where to hook this wire.  BTW the remote starters other functions are working fine

Thanks

Danny

I meant BLACK/ orange....however that wire does not turn the blowers on...I ended up hooking the wire to a BLACK/ brown wire on the ignition harness and the blowers turned on.  Before I hooked the remote starter to that wire I turned the key on and cut that BLACK/ brown wire and the blowers stopped working...that's why I hooked the remote starter to it
