Mazda B3000 Remote Start

do a test for yourself...tie your dmm to it, and put your clutch to the floor.  does it show 12 volts?  put the clutch to the floor and crank.  does it show 12 volts on crank?  Many of these clutch switch bypasses can also be done by providing continuity between 2 wires on the same plug....often just 12 volts.  This is why putting the starter signal (+12V only for crank) bypasses the switch just while cranking....

Ok one last question, this is good so that you still have to put the clutch in when reguarly starting.

Does the wire connecting to the clutch still have to be large gauge? Or does this wire turn on a relay somewhere else? Reason I ask is because the unit has onboard starter kill so it says to cut starter wire and connect each side, but the unit has a 2nd starter output but like 18AWG... was wondering if this clutch wire activates a relay, or something, that a small 18AWG would bypass it..

My guess is no, but any input is appreciated. Also? Where can i find the e-brake wire in this truck, other than the e-brake? I can't seem to find the plug and my fat head can't see it.

does the truck have a starter solenoid on the fender like a ford does?  (this is, afterall, a ford product now!).  If it does, then the +12V on the wire is just a signal.  What size is the wire on the clutch pedal?  If your wire is anywhere close to that gauge, you're fine....
