i was wondering what is everyone choice in speakers brands.

im thinking o upgrading my current speakers

my choices are

either:

Alpine SPS-1729S 6 1/2"

Infinity KAPPA 62.5I 6-1/2"

JBL GTO636 6 1/2" 3-Way Speakers

Kicker 02K65 6 3/4" 2-Way Speakers

SoundStream SST6.5 Tarantula Series 6.5" 2-Way Coaxial Speakers

and any of the pioneer model would be okay

what would everyone pick?

oh the speakers would be power by a pioneer 6300 or 7300 havent decided yet

I have a pair of infinity kappas. I would highly recommend them. With that said, I haven't heard any of the other speakers so I can't help you with comparisons.

even tho im a pure alpine guy, i have heard really good things about the infinity speakers, i would really do the research on the alpines and the infinity's, those are the best 2 in that price range.

if your going to pony up the cash for kappa's why don't you get the apline type r 6/5 either kappa's or type r's would get my vote
