Hello,
I drive a full size pickup and am contemplating installing a color changing led light kit underneath. My question is are these kits bright enough to be noticeable and to look good on a truck or would they perform better on a car that is lower to the ground? My truck is factory height, but I am going to lower the back 2 inches for it to sit level. Another question is which of these kits are better? I've heard bad things about liteglow but that was their neons. If anybody is familiar with these brands, could you please tell me the advantages of one over the other or if they would be worth putting on a truck?
Thanks a lot for your info
Shaun

I don't know but I just sold my blue Street glow neons.  They were bright as hell (blue).  They would have worked fine on your truck.

I have an 03 mustang and I want to do the LED kit as well.  Probably not the 7 color one, just solid blue.  My fears are brightness, and reliability.   There are some kits on ebay for $60 NEW.

Let me/us know what you find out.  I am probably getting my kit right after xmas so I can do an update then.

Varad makes a REALLY COOL LED kit that comes with the controller. It will flash to music, fade, chase, strobe, flash, and more. They are SUPER bright and I've had NO troubles from the 40 or 50 I've installed for customers.

I'll agree with premieravp, led's are way stinkin bright, don't have breakable glass tubes (no warranty - big thing if you drive a full size pu) and also have had no troubles. More and more manufacturers are jumping on the led bandwagon all the time. A few years back at Vegas there was a lifted full size pu there that had an amazing undercar kit to it, the magic there was dual kits, something you may want to explore.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
