sounds like youu are having a time with your starter .... can you tell me the make and model of the unit you are trying to install as well as the make model and year of the vehicle it is going into. this will help me in finding the actuall install guide to the product and I should be able to help you from there.

the unit is a Garage-8 thats all iknow here is what it looks like http://www.hoffind.com/CAR%20ALARM.htm in an 1987 Pontiac Grand am and hopefully in a few months a 2002 chevy malibu

sorry about your luck.... looks like you ve bought a piece of crap that will not work . go with something a little better. try DEI or Compustar. typically speaking they will work. spend abit more money and you will have less headaches and better finished product. I mean really , what are you gonna do with 300 feet range. If thats what they advertise, chances are that you will get more like 100 ft and falsing problems. sorry i couldnt be more help.
