I got it hooked up. The car startsm then immediatly shuts down. Dignostics say (+)shutdown.
I tested the brake shutdown, and its okay. The hoodpin has 12 coming out of it, but it isn't hooked up. Neutral safty is grounded.
HELP!
The car is a 95 Neon

It would not be the hood pin, if that is hooked up and sees ground (-) then the alaram/RS should not even try and start. The brake is about the only possiblity, I would disconnect that wire and try it to at least see if that is the problem. Since it is a 95 I do not think that Dodge put immobilizers in neons, but if your key is gray you might want to check and see if it needs a bypass, I could not find any information supporting that in my datebase of cars though.
Remember check all your wires with a DMM!

I figured it out...The avital remote starter I was using, has a tach/voltage switchable in the programing. I changed it and it worked fine. Best I can figure is the tach was not strong enough..
Thanks for the help!
