I am installing an Ultra Start 1355A. So far everything seems to be hooked up right, except after starting, the engine stops. I have the transponder, but am not sure how to wire it. Any help would be appreciated.

Is that the 4 wire bypass? Power, ground, trigger (ground when running) and data? I thinks its the same as a PLData that I use.
The data wire goes to the purple wire in the OBDII plug under the drivers side dash. Make sure you program the module.

Hey Jworm. Thanks for the response. Sorry it took so long to get back.

We got it going and it worked great for a day or so. Then the check engine light came on. When you put it in "Drive", it takes off in third gear. We lost the overdrive too. Reverse is delayed also. The GM dealer states it is the car starter and to pull it out. He has had 3 vehicles with bad transmissions go back due to fact that they had car starters put in. So we disconnected it and the trans. works fine, but the engine light stays on. Any ideas?

The check engine light will likely go out after turning the ignition on and off about 40 or 50 times. The reason it came on was due to the fact that the white second ignition wire in the harness wasn't powered up during remote start. The only other way to turn off the check engine light is with a scan tool for OBD II.

Thanks for responding Sparky. Have you heard of it affecting the transmission?

If you drive it like that it may or may not affect the trans. But that white ign wire HAS to power up with the remote start. Also, disconnect the battery for 10 minutes. The check eng. light should go out.

Another thing......the engine light may be coming on because of the Passlok override, not the trans. Make sure it's wired correctly!
