Has anyone attempted to use a GM-U7 module in a '01 Grand Prix? I had NO luck in programming the GM-U7 to bypass the Passkey III. I had to resort to the old key in the box method.

hi try and find a module called the pkg5 i think auto mobility sells them have used lots and they work great no key required and they dont cause passkey light to come on if the car sees two keys in ing at same time like with key in box if you don't use relay and key sense wire to turn module off when key iin ing.

good luck

agreed.  PKG5 works great for PKIII...however, Automobility is one of the poorest selections...they're bad for second rate, refurbed stuff.  Most places that sell bypasses will have the PKG5.  Robert Thibert, Carrady, Links, are all good choices in canada (if you're a dealer)
