Installed a RS/alarm in this a few weeks ago and everything worked fine, howver now, it will not stay remote started. It starts and runs for a couple seconds then turns off, kind of like a transponder problem, except jeep did not but transponder in these cars. I know this person's key does not have a transponder anyway since he got the key cut at walmart and it works just fine.
Any one got any ideas?

sounds like a tach issue, or if your on voltage, its not seeing the alternator firing up. best to use an injector these days for your tach signal, especially if your using DEI product

grab the grey/blue wire at the PCM, the Powertrain control module located on left inner fender behind headlight.  test for ac and verify with a tap on the throttle.

The injector wire you used should have been one of the uncommon colored ones.
