I've installed a DEI Valet 554R system in a 04 F150.  When I shutdown the RS or it times out the truck turns on the dome light and sets off the alarm.  I'm trying to think of the best way to circumvent this problem.   Does anyone have any good ideas on how to get around this problem?  This system has both a (-) out for RS duration and a (-) out for RS shutdown (factory rearm output) so I was thinking that I could set up a latching relay to kill the door trigger input right when the shutdown occurs.....but then how do you break the latch?  I can see a situation when you RS the vehicle but never get in it and it times out and this latch stays indefinitely and runs the battery down.
