Hi All and thanks for the help in advance. I have a 2000 Ford F150 xlt. and am installing a Python 440hp Keyless entry system. I was wondering if anyone had any insite or helpfull hints. Or wiring diagrams? I have installed a couple of alarms about 10 years ago. So I am basically brand new at this. Is it ok not to hook up the starter kill? I already have one installed. Just pretty much want to unlock my doors and have the horn honk..:) Thanks again. Also do I need to buy any addl parts? And can anyone rec a spot for the hot wire, instead of the battery, I don't think my wire will be long enough..

You should be able to find the vehicles wiring diagram on this site. As for the 12v constant wire use the yellow wire in the ignition harness bundle, there are several any one will do. Always use a DMM!!!!!!!!!!

pink with green stripe and pink with yellow stripe in the passenger kick. those should be the wires for you. should be a reverse polarity system too.

2 relays, one lock, one unlock; both pin 87 and 86 to hot 12v, 87a to switch side of door lock, 30 to motor side, 85 on each relay to lock and unlock wires from alarm respectively.

No you don't have to hook up the starter kill if you don't want to.
