i decided to put my avh-6400cd screen back in after sitting in my room for two months and now it won't work. it comes out fine but won't flip up, any ideas? its motorized, so it comes out all the way but then stops and won't flip up

Sounds like something is jammed in it and it is not flipping up.

DO NOT force it open as this will damage the plastic gears and the belt. Make sure that you are getting a proper ground and power to the unit. Sometimes with electrical equipment, an improper ground or power will cause loss of power or not enough current to operate the equipment properly. Otherwise, take the player in to get it serviced.
