Anyone know what frequency this system operates on?I was thinking about adding an amplifier to this system.I was wondering about how much transmitting power  the remotes have in a remote car starter? The way I see it I would have to amplify the remote signal as well in order to increase range.Maybe that is wrong what do you all think?

The strongest transmitting power to date from an alarm system is 400 milli watts. The strongest amplification which can be applied is 5 watts.
That is (5) watts, not milliwatts. This assumes your antenna can handle the extra power, without faultering.
