Ok here is the run down on everything I have.

Design Tech Airwolf 20096 aka. Lynx 2000R

DEI 555F

Periperals(*sp) NSS

Bull Dog security Ignition T-harness

I have been reading each of the manuals ect and I don't understand some things.

1. the DEI 555F is pretty self explanitory

2. The NSS swithc where I am getting confused. I don't understand why I need this.. I thought the alarm already did all of the things necesarry for a manual trans mission.

3. Is there anything else necesarry that I will need to do this install I have diodes but im not sure where I need to install them (except where the NSS unit instructs you to)

Any help on this is much appreciated !

remote start on a manual tranny......not very legal.....but it's always fun to break the rules I guess

Why does the MT problem continue to exist. How many cars, houses, people will get damaged?? Get an AG4 and stop playing with Pokemon alarms. If you wish to RS on a manual then deal with the costs and consequences.

Someone pass me that bottle.

The Design Tech Airwolf 20096 aka. Lynx 2000R is MANUAL SAFE. The NSS is not necessary, but just an added safety for your clutch bypass if you want o use it as your clutch activation wire instead of the ground out when running wire.

Velocity Motors,

I thought it was necesarry to have (i just spent $35.00 on this thing) and to find out I don't need it ... that stinks.

Should I use it knowing that the car is deffinatly secure. Or is it going to give me problems.

So am I to understand that there are Remote Starts designed to start manual transmissions? What makes them safe? What brands and models? Obviously a car started in gear isn't going to go far, especially with the parking brake engaged. But it seems like they would make a remote start that senses greater load on the engine (IE transmission engaged) or something like that.

Yes, they have been made for over 13 years, and counting.

Units which use a combination of user sequence of events, and sensors to detect that the vehicle is ready to be RSed.

ie. Brake is engaged, neutral safery (out of gear), in conjunction that the hood is closed, the brake is not engaged, the door is closed.

I installed a Lynx2000R on my standard car and here is the procedure when shutting the car off.

Park, engage hand brake, gear in neutral (foot off clutch and brake), remove key (engine will still be running), open door, exit and close door. Then the engine shuts off by itself and goes into reserve mode (RS allowed). If after removing the key, you did not follow those steps (ie: you stepped on the brake etc.) the reserve mode will not activate. While in reserve mode, only thing you can do is RS the car, if you perform any other alarm function (ie: unlock doors etc) the reserve mode would cancelled.
