Since it is a 2003, it is an OBD2 system and requires a scanner to reset the light.
If the problem has been repaired, the light will go out on its own after a number of restarts.
If there is an AutoZone near you, they can retrieve the trouble code and clear the codes for you.

Disconnect the negitive batt. cable for about 30 minutes, that should clear any soft  codes that would turn on the light.

well guys thanks for all the help.  i think i finally got it.  i had autozone reset my light last night.  so far it hasnt came back on.  when i redid the wires the other day, the 2nd ignition on the junk bulldog t-harness was loose.  the part that actually goes into the harness, with the pin on it.  go figure.  if i have learned anything... dont get a bull dog system... they are complete junk.
