I purchased a used vehicle that has from the info booklet in the glove box an Omega AL-100-H alarm and the shock sensor does not work, the sensitivity set screw just turns with no stop in either direction, I have tried contacting Omega for a replacement but they do not reposnd to emails or messages left, I have a shock sensor from a Crime Stopper CH2000 alarm and they appear to have the same harness connection but thought I would ask before trying and burning something up
Thanks
Bob

Bob,
No problem using the CS shock sensor. But you will have to make sure that all the wires are connected to the appropiate colors, just in case they do not match the Omega unit.
Depending upon which sensor style it will have the following colors:
Red = Power +12 VDC constant
Black = Ground (-)
Blue = Trigger
White = Prewarn
Brown / White = Ground while armed
Purple = Cut loop to reduce sensitivity
Brown = To drive a positive (+) siren.
