Has anyone found a door wire trigger to use for an alarm system? Wire Magic lists a grey/black wire at the dome light which goes + when the door is opened. The problem is it is a delayed shut off wire and it can be defeated by the dash sw. Omega used to make a module gmdl4 I believe that had a door trigger sw but, the module is not available anymore. The last alternative I can see is to go into every door and get the triggers individually. I dread the that!
Thanks!
Jon

Thanks David!
I was really dreading going into each door! I found all the wires at the BCM under the steering wheel. The connector is on the very bottom of the BCM not in front of you when you take the lower dash down. Also the pink/black is for the rear hatch I found. So even though I have to go into the front doors at least I don't have to do them all.
Thanks again
Jon

You will still need to go into the drivers and passengers front door to get those triggers.  Only the rear door triggers are located in the purple plug behind the bcm.
Do it right the first time
