where do i tap into the spark plug input signal. it's not the tach wire. on a 02 ford explorer.

you must mean tach signal

Tach Signal:

BLUE/GREEN

AT COIL PACK

the brain of the alarm has a tach wire and a spark plug input signal wire. im confused.???

what system are you trying to instal

should only need tach wire

never seen or used one with spark plug input in the 16 yrs i have been installing remote starters

the alarm is a trc (the right connections} xr-33

ive seen some unit that have a switch to change the tach wire into a spark plug sence input...are you sure that there are two seperate wires or is it selectabe through a jumper or programing?

no programing just two wires listed as tach & spark plug input. maybe i can get by with out using it
