2000 honda accord factory radio

I have a customer who has a factory radio from a 2000 accord and wants to put it in a 92 accord i was wondering if the harness changed can i just plug and play??? Or do i have to modify the harness?? Thanks

yea the harness has canged, you need a reverse 2000 harness and wire it into the 92  to match them up. are the radios the same size i thought the 92 was single din?

If I'm not mistaken you may have to have a code to plug that radio back in once it is taken out.

Teamrf is correct.  Some of the factory radios, mostly upper trim grades, have and anti-theft feature on them.  If  the radio you are using says "anti-theft"  on the front in white letters you will need a five digit code to unlock it.  If the customer bought the '00 car new it should be on a credit card sized plasic card with all the other paper work, if not you will need the serial number off the bottom of the radio.  Take it and proof of ownership, registration, title, etc., to the Honda dealer and they will be able to retrieve it form the online database
