I install a remote starter on a 03 honda pilot. I hook up the lock and unlock directly to the wire that are on the pass side. After the install the OEM remote does not work. What wrong?

your lock and unlock wires are in the factory alarm connector under drivers dash green plug white\blue and white /green are your remotes not working alltogether or just when remote started if its just when remote started you need to do is interupt the 12 volt ignition input to your factory keyless entry

the wires are connected on the pass side. And the OEM remotes do not work at all the panic button does not work I tried both OEM remtes and i get the same resluts.

Also I taped into the wires and did not cut them.

The remote starter and door locks work fine on the remote starter unit.
