Both of you should be able to pickup the domelight as BLACK/ blue (+) in the drivers kick panel/door sill area. Good luck,
Mike

if it is not in the driver's kick, it might be in the passenger kick but I would go to the DS first

sorry, some newer ford's, probably your O2 need to be diode isolated in a specific way.  If it is a two door you will might be looking for yellow/black or BLACK / YELLOW for the DS and Gray/red for the passenger side, if it has rear doors, I believe it is tan/black, but I'm not sure.  The last ford I did the for the Driver side wire came out of the door boot extremely high under the drivers dash, it may be easier to get the door from the boot.  Again, I'm not a 100% and I don't have the wire codes for this car.

i used a lt/blue and white wire at a small wiring harness(about 7 wires) on the bottom left of the instrument cluster.  the harness is at the front of the cluster so you don't even have to remove the whole cluster, just the trim around it.  this wire tested as a negative trigger and is used to light the "door ajar" light on the cluster.  since it is used to light that indicator on the dash, you cannot use it for dome light supervision.  you still need to use the BLACK/ blue wire (+) in drivers kick(the big harness that runs towards the back of the car pass the drivers door opening)
