I have just got a TRC XR-22 remote starter. I currently have a Checkmate alarm/keyless entry on my 2001 Corolla.

How and what do I connect the factory disarm wire from the starter to ?

you do not need to connect the factory disarm wire to anything as your toyota has an aftermarket alarm.if it had a factory alarm you would need this to turn off the factory alarm every time the autostart was used.

I thought that it would trigger the alarm if i tried to remote start the car. I figured something would have to disarm the alarm 1st
