I do a lot of stereo's and don't know exactly what to listen for when setting up amps. I mostly do alpine products, with some rockford. Is there any good sites out there any of you know of? I would like to know what exactly everything on an amp does and just understand what everything does to set them up properly. Any help would be great.
Thanks

If you look  in the manual that comes with amps it usually tells you what each control is for. I usually just cut the amp down, turn the radio up about 3/4 of the way, and turn it up just below distortion. Some cars you may have to go a little lower because they may have an older electrical system and may pick up engine whine.
