Power lock question

im installing a dei 790 xv alarm, and am wondering what type of locks are in my 2000 camaro z28. i have read diagrams but they seem to conflict, do i just hook the wires up or need relays? any tips or websites would be appreciated

i saw that diagram, however the one on the 12 volt says differently

power lock is RED / black, its a (-) trigger, and is in the green plug at the bcm in the passenger side kick.  as for unlock, you need two relays or a DEI part number 451m.  you need to do two 5 wire setups.  the first is on the tan wire to unlock the drivers door, and the grey/black to unlock the passenger door (same locations at lock)

for the relays/415m, take 12v (fused at 15amp) to terminals 86 and 87 for both relays, then take your (-) unlock output from the brain to 85 on both relays.  with the first relay, cut the tan wire and take 87a to the BCM side, and take 30 to the motor side.  on the second relay, cut the grey/black wire and take 87a to the BCM side, and 30 to the motor side.  its not that difficult, just test the cars wires for 12v at rest, then cut it and see if unlock still works (depending on which door you cut).
