I recently installed an alarm with remote start in a 1998 prelude.  got everything working except the remote start because his car came with the passkey lock.  So if you dont have the key in it wont let you start the car.  Does anyone know how to bypass this so the car can be remote started?  Any help would be greatly apreciated.  thanks.

you need to get a dei 555u and install it to get the remote start to work

Try designtech-intl.com/.  When you get to this site go to document # 144. It has a bypass diagram for your car...

just buy the friggin 555h its like 30 on ebay....that way you dont have something ghetto rigged, making your car easier to steal.... plus with that method (which is basically a home made 555u) you have to give up a 20+ dollar key....

dont be cheap....
