It's been a while since I did a late model civic, but here's what I can remember. You have to slide the console back to get the dash piece under the radio off. There should be a screw exposed on each bottom rear side of the console; also I believe there are a couple screws underneath the shifter trim piece. When you get the piece under the radio off, there should be two or four 8 mm screws holding the radio in place. I don't know what kit you purchased, but most of them have instructions for dash disassembly also.

on that model i think you have to pop off the lower dash panel pocket near the console its either a pocket or a panel w/ a cig lighter or something, once you have that off there are 2 phillps / 8mm bolts you need to remove from underneith the radio housing, once those 2 bolts are out you have to carefully pry from the dash radio trim bezel outward, it will feel tight almost like you are gonna break it but sometimes the clips are just really tight, once you have the bezel out, you have to remove the a/c knobs and remove the ac controls in order to remove the factory radio, then put everything back together and install your dash kit and radio.

i dont remember the specifics, but there was a techtip on my companys installer page about the 03 manual being differet than the automatic.  if you bought the metra honda multi-kit, the insturctions in there for the automatic should get you started.
