Does the Autopage 850 have a Voltage Sensor?

So if someone opens a door (and the dome light turns on), it activates the siren.

i would think so, most basic alarms have a door pin or dome light wire that they sense

Yes, that is the whole point of the alarm, so that it goes off if the doors are opened.

You're right, I would think so too.

Crimestopper 2015 FM has door pin triggers, but no voltage sensor.  :(

Audiovox Prestige 996A has door pin triggers, but no voltage sensor either!

So far I'm a little disappointed with my search for a new car alarm.

Looks like absolutely none of the paging alarms have voltage sensitivity.

Where's the competition in that?

To answer my own question, heh heh ...

The only car alarm that has voltage sensing and paging is Audiovox APS 995.  It uses high power AM and is currently outlawed by the FCA.

For those who own Autopage 850s ...

Does this thing have a practical range?

Shopping mall?  Office building?  Underground parking garages?

Any good/bad experiences on these?
