What vehicle are the subs for, are you prepared to change the box and are you prepared to change the amp either now or down the road?

then you definitly need to change your amp if you go with the fosgate power subs. I believe they need 1000 watts RMS and 2000 peak!  If you are going to keep ur amp, look into JL 12w0's, kicker comps or MTX6000's.

If you buy some JL W0 subs you will only need a 300 watts RMS mono amp. You shouldn't need a new battery or a capacitor. I have my W0 in a sealed box and like the punchy bass. If you want more boom then try building a ported box to the specifications that JL lists.

i switched for 2 12"mtx 5000s to a 15" jl Wo, i was not happy at all.  I was trying to get some of my trunk space back by putting the 15 in the spare tire well.  I am not happy with the W0 at all.  Now i got 2 memphis 12" m3.  Good god do they rock.   I have seen memphis, now i have seen the light

A ported box can go into pretty much any vehicle, I have a ported 12w6v2 in my trunk and I drive a maxima. Do you like the sound of a ported box? some people do some people prefer the sound of a sealed, it's all personal preference.
