I have 2 questions on a alarm system in the 2003 Chevy S10 pickup truck.

How could I get the trunk release wire to put out a constant pulse on the push of the remote button so I could use it to turn on the covered bed lights and push the button a second time to turn the bed lights off?

Could the Tack. pick up lead on the remote starter be connected to the black wire with a white racer stripe on it at the electronic coil, the wire would go thru the firewall.

Chevrolet does not make it easy to put a hole thru the firewall, hardly room to work with on a S10.

Thanks.

I dont have a link to where you could buy one, but a latching relay would do this for you.
