Hey all,

Wanted to give you guys a look at my new project.  It's been a few years since I have done any glassing so let me know what you think. This enclosure is going in my 97' Jeep Cherokee.

New project started this weekend - Last Post -- posted image.

Here is thr frame. the box is going to fit 2-12's a Audio control EQX on top, 2 Caps internal ( sill not sure about this) a Volt meter, and a Xtant 603X on the back.

and the back, the amp will be in the middel here. As you can see still have a few more coats of glass in the inside and the finish work but not a bad start for the weekend.

I will keep you posted with more pics as work progresses

Looks awesome !! Here's a little advice for you when you start to sand, make sure that you cover the sub holes with something so that no fiberglass dust gets inside the enclosure. The dust can cause problems in the future with your subs as it can get into the voice coils and wear them prematurely.

So far I have used about 60oz. or just under a half gallon. That includes two external coats, One internal coat and the start of an internal mat reinforced coat.  The fleece I am using is pretty thick and does a good job of soaking up the resin.

By the time I am done I probable will use whole gallon Since I am using half inch MDF to cut down on wieght I want to reinforce the side walls with resin also. Depends when I feel it's strong enough with no flex.  Good thing is I won't be pounding this box "real hard".
