I write this in addition to a previous poster:
Has anyone installed an aftermarket radio into a Sequoia with the JBL option? The usual 1761 harness doesn't fit any of the connectors on the radio or on the amp. That new "amp integration harness" some vendors have doesn't fit either. I've got a Kenwood touch-screen dvd/nav system installed except for the $%^& head unit because of this.
From what I understand it is the same layout as the recent Avalons with the JBL system. I can't find anything for those either.
Hasn't ANYONE put an aftermarket unit in one of these things?
Thanks in advance
-Felix
So has anyone done this yet? We have one in the bay right now. Thanks... Mel

The 70-8112 is for select 1999 and older Toyota vehicles. You need 70-8113 for select 2000 and up Toyota vehicles like yours.

Well then educate your people. Inspect what you expect. Maybe tell them to update the website as well. It blows. If you type in 70-8112 it only pulls up Lexus. The years only goes to 02 for Sequioas. Check your people out. What do you do there as a tech? goto www.metraonline.com and check it yourself.

I understand and sympathize with you and that is one main reason why I personally take time out of my day to volunteer my services on this site and to explain to everyone about our parts. We also offer a tech support that is open seven days a week and is SECOND TO NONE. E-mail me, open a thread in a forum, call me toll free, I'm there to help and that is something most people can't provide, true? Yes I know our website is not the best, but we are changing that as we speak and one day soon I hope it will be up to the standards our tech support offers, until then, call me, I do answer.
