i've been helped to find the retained power wire in a 2002 trailblazer so i could hook my remote turn on wire for my amp to it, thank you ... i'm having trouble though.. i've found it.. it powers the sunroof? well either way thats what i was told.. i've tried it but, it doesnt go off when your open the door.. it stays on.. right now i have the remote turn ojn attached to the radio some how , dont ask me how... but it goes on and off with the radio.. the only problem is.. it creates a loud pop when it goes off, and any amount of electricity turns it off and on.. oo and i get fuzzy noise out of it when the lights are on.. i think somehow i'm gettin interference from other sources.. anyways... please help.. thanks

I know that this subject may be a repeat .. but i still cant find a solution

There is a diagram on the relay portion for RAP power. Dont ever use the switched wire behind the radio. If you drop your dash use the steering column wires. 12V for constant and brown for acc.

coudl not find any diagram? ... all i wanna do is have my amps come on and off with my radio usin whatever method they are using with the radio.. and to turn off when the door is opened.. thanks

use DEI's 55000 adapter... it will do exactly what you want it to...

it takes an audio AC signal and supplya 12 volta turn-on voltage to remote on an amp...and the amp will turn on and off with the factory radio perfectly
