94 Mustang door locks

I get this reading, "both motor legs of the door locks are normally open. They neither rest at ground or 12v(+). The switch, when moved in either direction, applies both power and ground directly to them without the use of any relays." And wire it to a BW-3000 as per the diagram But when I hook it ,it blows a 20A fuse!

When not wired to the car the relays function properly.  

How many amps does factory actuators draw?

You have whats called a five wire set up.  Refer to the relay diagram for the proper configuration.

deanoho, what you have read (and quoted above) is true in part. The key is that this is only for vehicles WITHOUT factory remote keyless entry. IF the vehicle has factory remote keyless entry, the locks are negative trigger.

Thanks for all your help guys,

After testing again I found that i do have a 5 wire setup ,I guess i did'nt have a good ground on my meter while testing the first time.
