I have recently installed a APS-996 on a 1985 Ford Bronco.  The customer was interested in the paging system, but as you can imagine this car does not have fuel injection.  The led light continues to blink even when the car is started.

Off the top of my head, I think that its the ignition wire, but I just wanted to throw the question out there.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

In most systems that do not have the keyless system attached , if you do not disarm or unlock the system, the LED will continue to blink. Try using the unlock button on the remote and the LED will stop blinking.
