does anyone have any pics or links to pics of finnished fiberglassed door pannels? Any vehicle doesn't matter, just wanting to see how others have done it.
I've done mine about 30% of the way now but what I've noticed is with the fleece and resin I've lost all detail, ie: around the door handles and basic contour in the pannels, not really the texture I don't care bout that I wanted to get rid of that but some creases and such that gave the door pannel its "look" per say. As it sits right now it looks like a somewhat flat pannel with a hole for the door handles to come through....borring... do you think I could get away with using a dremel and a sanding drum to knock down some areas to bring out some areas and such? If that makes sense? thats why I was looking for some pics of finnished projects to see how things were done. Thanks to all..

Im currently working on glassing my door panels.  I have one primed and ready...anyways, here's a couple of pics of how i did mine.

This is a pic of the raw panel after i removed the vinyl and the foam and cleaned all the glue off of it.

I think i'm going to do that, I spray painted mine, which was a bad idea, I should have used a plastic spray paint. Now i'm just going to have to fiberglass them and then use the plastic paint. I guess you learn from your mistakes.

First i ruffed up the plastic then put a layer of bondo-glass down, then layed a layer of mat on top of that, then starts the bondo and sanding.

Was it a plastic or a vinyl?
