I want to get a 4 channel amp rated around 50 RMS per channel,  I was wondering about Audiobahn amps compared to Phoenix Gold amps.    Any input??     Also how are Alpine amps??

Of the three you listed, it's definately Alpine #1, PG #2, and Audiobahn #3.  Actually, in this price range I'd put US Acoustics at #2, and slip in MTX at #4, Rockford at #5 and Audiobahn down to #6.

I think Alpine are very good and despite the other opinions I think Audiobahn is better than PG.

I have not had one failure of an Audiobahn amp in the year that I have carried the line, but what do I know, I use Xtant and recommend Eclipse as well. I would throw the Eclipse EA3422 and PA5422 into your mix of amps to consider as well. My fricken car is being a pain in the butt, I have to move my fuse box so the fibreglass will form better in the front trunk. I can see hours of sanding ahead of me, great.

That's why I'm proud to sell it, use it myself and highly recommend it, now if I can just get my car to co-operate with my plans.
