ive heard a lot of bad stuff about sony xplod but what about the sony cdx-m9900 has anyone had any use of this my alpine was stolen and im lookin for a change i dont have a amp so i need it do sound as good as possible on its own power and some decent 6x9  in a 98 excab f150

Its not too bad of a deck if you've bought it already. If you havn't bought it already then an alpine or eclipse deck would be alot better (espicially the eclipse).

I just got a sony xplode motorized flip down detachable face, 52wx4 (cause someone stole my r.fosgate h.u.

I was very suprised to hear this thing sound as good as it does, Better and louder than my fosgate and has more goodies too.

No one ever said that Sony doesn't sound good - while it's working.  For the price, their heads are good sounding.  But they just don't seem to last very long.  That's why I can't recomend them.
