How long have you had your Eclipse?? They have a 3yr. warranty you know!!

They are right!! That shop just wanted your money. As long as you sent in your warranty card to Eclipse you can return it yourself, and get it fixed or replaced. Granted this would be time consuming, but it wouldn't cost you much. Not to mention, if the voice coils are gone, they will replace it.
