Testing remote start

I just want to know if I can test my remote start part on my alarm without having all of the alarm installed. So far I have all the remote start wires hooked up and the door triggers. Would I be able to try starting the car with just that

yeah you should be able to test it without the alarm being fully installed. i do that at times with the avital 4400's.
