which subwoofer is better?    which subwoofer would be better to use in a spl competition?  what amp should i get?  the kicker sub are rated at 1000 rms and soundstreamT2 are rated 1200rms?

I would go sound stream, not because of the higher RMS but because from my experience I trust them a little more in durrability.  The amp you could run to it is a Sound Stream Tarantula amp.  Your choice on which one, I lbelieve they have four to choose from.  Plus with those amps you will have a lot of control over the sub (X-over wise) and I know they deliver raw clean power.  Check em out...
